The “i" in this application’s name stands for “image”. Support is provided for the following image formats: JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, and GIF. There’s no Add or Open button, you’ll have to drag and drop images onto the application’s interface.

The “2pdf” part in this application’s name refers to the functionality it has to offer: it can take images, any of the supported formats I listed above, and it can convert them to PDF. So if you have a JPG image for example and you want to convert it to PDF, i2pdf will help you with that task. Using i2pdf is incredibly simple and you will spend very little time on converting the image to a PDF document.

Speaking about that, you’ll be glad to know that little time will go into getting i2pdf up and running. That’s because you won’t have to install it. Here’s what you will have to do: download an archive -> unpack the archive -> run the i2pdf executable.

Using i2pdf is a very simple 3-step process that goes something like this:
Step 1 – drag and drop the image or images you want to convert, onto the application’s interface. If you drag and drop multiple images, you won’t create multiple PDFs, you’ll create a single PDF that features all the images you dragged and dropped.
Step 2 – Click Build PDF and, by default, the Options menu will show up. From this Options menu you can access multiple settings that govern how i2pdf works and how it creates PDF documents.
Step 3 – click OK and tell i2pdf where to save the PDF document it will create.

i2pdf is freeware.

Thanks to i2pdf, you can quickly and very easily turn images into PDF documents. In just 3 simple steps you can turn a JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, or GIF into a PDF.

Pros

i2pdf does not have to be installed (and that, of course, makes it portable). Multiple image formats are supported: JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, GIF. Using i2pdf is a simple 3-step process. There are lots of settings to play with in the Options menu. i2pdf is freeware.

Cons

None that I could think of.
